We had Matilda's 2nd Birthday Party on Sunday. It was such a good day, and the best bit was that the rain held off til the end of the party. Here are some happy snaps of Tilda's big day.
On another note, today is my birthday.. It's been great, I've been getting lots of snuggles of my beautiful little girl, and I am looking forward to going out to dinner tonight to celebrate!
So that's two birthdays down, and one more to go. It's Tilda's actual birthday tomorrow, after all the birthdays are done with it's just fathers day and Christmas to worry about until next year.. yay!

I have not always been good to you, leaving you for days and weeks. You have kept me company during lonely nights, and gave me a place to vent on occasion. You are usually on my mind, and I think about you when something cool happens.. and then I forget to inform you about it later.

My blogs birthday is just the start of birthdays for this month. Tilda's dad has his birthday on the 25th, Mine is on the 30th and Miss Bug (Tilds) is on the 31st - turning the big 2!!!
Thought I might as well drop on by and give my pretty bleak update about whats been up so far. Well actually... It hasn't really been that bad, it's kinda been somewhat good.
Anyways.. so what's been up?
Well for starters, I've met someone! It's pretty great at the moment. He is a pretty top guy, absolutely amazing so far.... But, no matter how wonderful he is I cant help but comparing him to the last relationship, Im trying not to, I just cant help it. I just keep thinking "when is this going to turn sour". It's probably not a good start to a relationship with negative thoughts playing through my head.
It was mothers day recently. I got spoilt! It was great spending the day with my daughter and the new mister. We had breakfast with my mum, and the mister took Tilds and I out to. And then to make a great day strange, we had mothers day dinner with his mum... yep, that's right.. meeting the parents already!
Not really much else has been happening. I have a job interview tomorrow morning which is pretty exciting. It will be interesting starting paid work again.. I needed to do something, I just haven't been able to get into my studies this year, so I figured I would be able to finish my studies off online while working.. and getting paid! Its going to be so strange getting back into the "work force".

Our weekend was a bit random. We went to Katoomba to see the Three Sisters on saturday afternoon. It was freezing! We never intented to go but Tilds fell asleep in the car on the way to the cafe we were going to for lunch so we decided to keep driving to let her sleep for a bit longer. We ended up having a late lunch up the mountains.
Sunday we went on a lovely drive. Checked out the scenery. It was nice to be a passenger while someone else drove. Can't wait to see what this weekend holds for us!
We had a pretty quiet weekend, the weather was pretty miserable on Saturday so we went to an indoor play area. Tilds had loads of fun. She preferred the big kids slide over all the toddler equipment as per usual.
